The Annapolis Brass Quintet

ABQ Fun!

The Official ABQ French Horn RealJukebox Skin!

Now you can play the french horn! Well, maybe not really... but you can have a RealJukebox program that looks like a French Horn. RealJukebox, by Real.com, is a neat little utility that allows you to play and record MP3 files and CD's on your PC. Among its cooler features is the ability to create new interfaces for the program, called Skins. Your Webmaster did just that, so you can have your very own French Horn to play your CDs and MP3 files. Perfect for the holidays or everyday use, and best of all, RealJukebox and the French Horn skin are both entirely free!

If you already have RealJukebox, click on the French Horn below and the skin will be automatically downloaded and started on your PC. If you don't have RealJukebox, click on the Real icon below to go to their download page, and come back to the French Horn after you've installed it.

Brass Tacks!

The City of Annapolis, Maryland is synonymous with the sport and love of Sailing. Home of the United States Naval Academy, and one of the major pleasure craft fleets of the Chesapeake, sailing is central to the Annapolis experience.

The Severn River is home to Brass Tacks, a beautiful wooden craft that is a replica of an Isle of Shoals schooner, and owned by the ABQ's own Cap'n Robert Posten and First Mate David Cran. Look for Brass Tacks if you're out and about on the Chesapeake. Click on the photo for an enlarged version!

The Well-Dressed Horn Player!

In this 1998 article from the Baltimore Sun, horn player Sharon Tiebert is profiled in their Candid Closet column about life and clothing after leaving the touring company of Les Miserables and settling into her new job at Johns Hopkins University.
